I am a New Englander, and yes we do help each other out. But I had two experiences when visiting Montana to visit my daughter that really warmed my soul. I got two flat tires on a highway. My 4 year old grandson was in the car. Thankfully neither of us got hurt. A gentleman heading home to start his vacation with his family stopped to help. He not only called highway patrol and AAA for me, but laid out a blanket for my grandson to safely sit away from the road, gave him a hat to shield him from the summer sun, and a bottle of water. Such a kind gentleman. The 2nd instance was when I was stuck in the snow. Not one, but 2 cars stopped to help! I LOVE Montana. Beautiful state and beautiful people.
