About 10 years (at least) . We interacted with them and watched them look. I hsve ago, my husband and I were at Sago Canyon Utah. We were the only ones there. A truck drove up and a family of four from Arizona jumped out. The kids were around 8 yrs old. They were looking for a Geocach. They found it in a sage brush. At that time it was mostly families with young children participating. I have a picture of their find, It was a film container with some candy and a dime.
