My grandparents lived there and had 6 children, many of them born in Garnet. My Dad worked the mines and met and married my mother there. My brother was born when they lived in Garnet as was my sister. I try to go back there every summer to pay respect to my ancestors, many of them had their ashes spread in Garnet. I have many stories about the old town.
