Cows don’t come into the barn (if you have a barn large enough to shelter your cattle) when you “want” them to come into the barn, they do it when “they” want to. When hurricanes hit (down here) they will shelter from wind and rain and cold (if you are lucky)....nevertheless you go out to check on them, and they are grazing. Interesting creatures. I hate this one was lost. I’ve heard of cattle lost because a fence was struck by lightening and all the cattle touching the fence line grazing were electrocuted. Luckily we have never lost one this way.
