I was living in New York state and had experiences very similar to yours. I guess it was because I lived there, I had 4 different ones. One was very close, and, was a few minutes long. We just looked at each other the whole time. He or she was not afraid and I wasn't either. Telling the few people that I did, only made me feel foolish, so I stopped.
