Hill started a bank in Helena and was told that it was foolish that grass would grow in the streets of Helena, Over the front entrance was the head of a Buffalo, Hill said it would eat all the grass in the streets of Helena! There is Hill Park near downtown Helena and many assume it gained the name because it was on a Hill but the truth was that it was a gift from Hill.
