I was the third generation to live in a Monkey Wards house in the late 40's early 50's.it had been shipped to Beach, N.D. and been hauled by horse and wagon to eastern Montana and constructed by local farmers. It is still standing (now 2021).we had running water (kitchen sink only), no other indoor plumbing no insulation in walls, coal fired furnace one grate heating kitchen only, three bed rooms, kept wind out of house, for the most part. We survived!
